🚨 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦, 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦!

Imagine replacing your roof and discovering there's no solid decking underneath the existing metal! 😳

That's exactly what we're showing on this modified bitumen roofing project.

🔩 Metal screwed into rafters

❌ No solid decking

❌ No sheathing

𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘'𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧!

Some metal roofing systems are designed to be installed over open framing. Modified bitumen roofing, however, needs an appropriate continuous substrate.

Different materials. Different requirements.

💡 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗜𝗣: Always ask your roofing contractor what's underneath your existing roof and whether it meets the requirements
