... Read moreWhen I first started doing makeup regularly, I often felt like I had to exaggerate expressions or 'pose' with certain faces while applying products. It felt like part of the ritual that made makeup feel professional or impactful. However, over time, I realized that makeup is less about performing and more about enhancing how I feel in the moment. One day, I caught myself not making any particular face at all—I was just focused, calm, and truly enjoying the process. This simple shift made my routine much more relaxing and authentic. Makeup became a way to express myself without forcing any emotions or appearances. It also helped reduce some of the pressure I had placed on myself to look a certain way during application, making the whole experience more enjoyable and less stressful. I also noticed that this relaxed mindset improved the outcome of my makeup. Without contorting expressions or trying to force smiles, the products applied more smoothly and naturally, especially foundation and eye makeup. The entire process felt more fluid, encouraging creativity instead of rigidity. For anyone feeling self-conscious or pressured during their makeup routine, I recommend trying to approach it with mindfulness and acceptance. Focus on how your skin feels, enjoy the colors and textures, and allow yourself to be present without judgment. This attitude not only enhances your makeup skills but also supports a healthier relationship with self-care and appearance. Embracing this mentality has made my makeup routine part of my daily self-love practice—not a chore or a performance. Whether you prefer a minimal look or full glam, remember: you don’t have to make a face, just be yourself and enjoy the art of makeup your way.

Why as an A+ student I hand write my notes
I have tried taking my notes on my computer and ipad and I really don't think anything is as helpful for me as writing everything by hand with pen and paper. The biggest thing is distractions. I noticed this the most when I tried to take notes oin my computer. It was really bad. I was so ea
