We took a day trip to Valentine Nebraska to hike and swim at Smith Falls State Park! The famous falls, standing at 70 feet, are the highest waterfall in Nebraska. From the north side of the park, cross the footbridge that spans the Niobrara River and then travel the boardwalk to the falls.
Other activities include:
✅Canoeing, kayaking and floating the Niobrara
✅Visitor center is open daily from May to September
✅ Wildlife viewing, fishing, hiking & picnicking
