La Colombe Cafe College Student Review ☕️🥐🤎

I am a huge fan of the canned La Colombe cold brews, and this trip to the La Colombe Cafe and Roastery in Frogtown, L.A. did not disappoint! I tried their Oatmilk Half Tan, which is their oatmilk draft latte, cold brew, and a splash of vanilla. It was foamy and rich and exactly what I was looking for :) They were also handing out samples of their draft pumpkin chai, which was also so yummy. The store is in such a cute, quiet neighborhood of L.A. so it made for the perfect outing. Definitely recommend trying it out!! #lacoffeespot

... Read moreOkay, so you read about my Frogtown La Colombe visit, right? Honestly, I'm still dreaming about that Oatmilk Half Tan! But let's dig a little deeper into what makes La Colombe such a vibe, and why I keep coming back, whether it's in L.A. or if I ever find myself near a spot like Rittenhouse or SoHo. First off, the interiors! The La Colombe Cafe in Frogtown, L.A., just like the stunning pictures my phone captured, truly lives up to the reputation. It's always so bright and spacious, with that cool, minimalist yet cozy industrial feel. Think exposed beams, huge windows letting in natural light, and plenty of seating, often with a mix of communal tables and smaller, intimate spots. It's never too cramped, which, for a coffee lover like me trying to get some work done or just chill, is a huge plus. You can really feel the thought put into creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, whether you're grabbing a quick cold brew or settling in for a longer study session. That's something I've noticed across their locations – a consistent quality in their coffee shop interior design that just makes you want to stay. And speaking of drinks, let's talk about the Oatmilk Half Tan. While I'm not usually one to count calories when I'm enjoying a delicious treat, I know some of you might be curious! For me, it's all about savoring that perfectly foamy, rich blend of oat milk, cold brew, and vanilla. It’s definitely an indulgent treat, but totally worth it. If you're looking for something a bit lighter, La Colombe has a fantastic range of other options at their coffee bar. Their regular draft lattes are amazing, and I’ve heard great things about their pour-overs if you're a black coffee aficionado. Plus, they always have seasonal delights, like the draft pumpkin chai I sampled, which was unexpectedly delicious and a perfect autumn pick-me-up. The baristas are usually super friendly and happy to help you find your perfect drink, whether you're into a classic espresso or something more adventurous. For anyone in L.A., the Frogtown location is a hidden gem. It's tucked away in such a cute, quiet neighborhood, making it the ideal escape from the city bustle. But if you're exploring other cities, keep an eye out for other La Colombe spots. While my focus here was on L.A., I've heard friends rave about the specific charm of places like La Colombe Rittenhouse in Philly or their SoHo location in New York, both known for their unique takes on the signature La Colombe atmosphere. It's comforting to know that wherever I travel, I can usually find a La Colombe and count on that same high-quality coffee and inviting cafe interior. It's more than just a coffee shop; it’s a whole experience, and one I highly recommend!
