✨ Tip 1: Going with a group of friends 🧡
How it helped me: I never camped before, and so it would be silly to go alone.
✨ Tip 2: Research 🌿
How it helped me: While being a first-time camper, I wanted to make sure it was a safe location. Accidents happen, and you don't want to be too far from a hospital or civilization for you and others' safety. That and I wanted to have a shower and bathroom nearby.
✨ Tip 3: Splitting the costs
How it helped me: My friends and I wanted to enjoy our time, and so we split everything in the middle. We bought the food, the reservations for the campground, the utensils, etc. The only thing that the group didn't cover was a tent, bathroom essentials, sleeping bags, and personal care. Don't get me wrong, we can share, but everyone already got some things beforehand. One of my friends had a tent and a grill.
🤍 How I Felt: I was a little nervous, but it was everything I dreamt of. It was so fun, and I had a great group to go with, which I never thought I would be able to. I haven't had the most kindest upbringing and so I really needed this.⭐️Overall rating: 10000/5: would do again.
🤍 My Takeaways: Food felt never-ending. I am the cook, so picking food was no issue. No one went hungry and splitting between 5 people and 3 nights. The cost ended up being around 75 per person, which is relatively cheap for some of the food and cooking supplies we bought that were specifically camp related, as well as the 3 night stay at the campground.
