Paint my wall with me
Sorry it took me so long y’all
Okay, so I know I've been saying I'd do this forever, but I finally painted my wall, and OMG, it was so worth the wait! It definitely took me a while to get started, but once I did, it was such a fun and rewarding project. If you're looking to give a room a fresh new vibe, trust me, a DIY wall paint job can totally transform your space! I had 'painting for house wall' on my to-do list for ages, and I kept seeing all these amazing 'easy checkerboard painting ideas' popping up on my feed. I was a bit nervous about tackling a pattern, but I figured, why not? For color inspiration (like 'ghar me colour images'), I pulled out some of my favorite home decor magazines and scrolled through Pinterest. I decided on a two-tone checkerboard using a soft pastel and a slightly darker complementary shade to keep it chic but still fun. Before diving in, I gathered all my supplies: painter's tape (don't skimp on good quality!), two colors of paint, rollers, brushes for edges, a measuring tape, and a pencil. Prepping the wall is key – make sure it's clean and smooth. Then came the measuring! This is where you really focus to get those perfect squares. I marked out my grid lightly with a pencil, making sure everything was even. Then, the careful taping began. Take your time with this step, as crisp lines depend on it! Once the grid was taped, I started painting the alternate squares with my first color. I made sure to apply thin, even coats and let each coat dry completely before moving on. This is crucial for a smooth finish! After the first color was done and fully dry, I carefully removed the tape from those squares. Then, I re-taped the unpainted squares, making sure the edges were perfectly aligned with the painted squares, and went in with my second color. It's a bit of a process, but seeing the pattern emerge was incredibly satisfying. My biggest tip? Don't rush the drying times between coats and tape removal! That's how you avoid smudges and get those clean, professional-looking lines. I'm so thrilled with how my checkerboard wall turned out. It adds so much personality to the room without being overwhelming. If you've been thinking about painting your wall but feeling intimidated, especially with a pattern, I promise it's more achievable than you think. Just grab some paint, put on some tunes, and have fun with it. It truly feels like a brand new space now!

IDK why it’s so small sorry😭
