Fragrances I Will and Won’t Buy Again
I usually don’t treat myself to things like a new perfume or body spray very often, simply because of how expensive they can be. But, Monday I had the wise idea to buy a fragrance I’ve been eying, as well as a fragrance I probably would have turned down (if they offered it in store.) So, after getting them I decided to do the one thing I could think of: share MY honest and detailed opinion with you guys!
Will Buy again: Pirette’s Fragrance oil. This was the scent I impulsively bought, not my most responsible purchase, and usually I tend to avoid fragrances that are meant to smell like sunscreen. I have nothing against them, but they never caught my fancy. Safe to say, this will be the exception to that rule.
Notes: On the package and in the Ulta Beauty app, they don’t have a detailed list of notes (and I’m too lazy to do any further research) so I’ll put what the package says. “This long lasting scent with notes of fresh green coconut, surf wax, sunscreen is inspired by that sun-washed feeling after a day at the beach.” In my opinion, you can easily smell all three notes listed, with the coconut getting stronger as it sits on your skin. It’s a pleasant, waxy scent that tickles that weird part of my brain that enjoys the smell of wax, while providing a refreshing hit of coconut that’s perfect for a day on the boardwalk.
💵 Price: $48.00 for the 0.5 FL. Oz bottle, it’s definitely a pricy buy in my opinion, but worth it for the scent. I’ll definitely treat myself to their spray perfume when I can fit it in my budget.

Won’t Buy Again: Now depending on your personal experience, you might agree or disagree when I say that Eilish by Billie Elilish wasn’t worth the $26 I spent on it. I’m glad I bought the travel size instead of a full sized bottle, so that there isn’t much of an urgency to use it. I’ll get more in depth with my experience below, and I’ll let this one sit for a few days just to see if it was that one spray.
Notes: I bought this off of Amazon, but using the Ulta app as my reference material, it says the notes are: Sugared Petals, Creamy Vanilla, and Warm Musk. When I first sprayed this on my wrist, I definitely picked up the vanilla…but only that, as the other notes seemed to have mixed together to create this smell I can only describe as Vick’s Vapo Rub. Maybe it was that first spray, and it really does smell nice, but I will say that I am disappointed to have lost almost $30 on this product, and definitely shouldn’t have blindly bought this. I’ll have my mom and my (fragrance lover) little brother smell this to see what they think.
💵 Price: $26, like I said, I bought the travel size so I could sample the product before actually committing to a full size if I liked it. In my opinion, it’s not worth the $26 and you’re probably better off buying literally anything else, but this. But, don’t take my opinion to heart as it is just an OPINION.
