Hi, I'm just a 21 year old trynna navigate!
Hello, My name is Ti'Nya Anderson!!
I am 21 years old and I am a Certified phlebotomist.
I would love to start doing a day in the life of a phlebotomist as I've been doing phlebotomy for 3 years.
I also am Certified in EKG, Medical Assistant and IV's, but I only use my Phlebotomy certification at the moment. I also am a pre-nursing student, waiting to get accepted into a Nursing program( iykyk). I am excited to be going on this journey and excited to get to know everyone on this app. 🩸💉
As a 21-year-old aspiring healthcare professional, my journey into phlebotomy and nursing is filled with unique experiences and challenges. Phlebotomy, the art of drawing blood for tests, requires both technical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. In addition to my certification in phlebotomy, I hold credentials in EKG, Medical Assistant, and IV administration, enabling me to provide comprehensive care in clinical settings. Balancing my studies in nursing while working as a phlebotomist allows me to gain valuable hands-on experience in patient interactions and healthcare processes. It’s essential to understand the importance of empathy and communication when dealing with patients who may feel anxious about blood draws. This connection not only eases their fears but also enhances their overall experience, turning what can often be a stressful event into a more comforting one. I encourage fellow young professionals to explore the diverse career paths within healthcare. Whether you're interested in phlebotomy, nursing, or another medical field, gaining experience through certifications and practical training will provide a solid foundation for your future. Connect with communities online, share your experiences, and support one another on this incredible journey in healthcare!
