The Willis Tower owes us nothing. It was educational, fun, interactive and worth the cost!
There are restaurants in the tower but we were on a time crunch so eating was not the priority.
At the entrance of the sky deck, an attendant stops you for a photo and hands you a postcard to redeem your image. From there you dive into the deep history of Chicago… everything from architecture to food with photo ops woven in-between.
Once the history lesson is over, it’s time to ride the elevator up to 1️⃣0️⃣3️⃣rd floor! The ride is a whole 60 damn seconds and you get once chance to gracefully bow out. I had to call my man, my man, my man to build my confidence because I was shook!
Now on to the main event… after surviving the immersive elevator experience, you lap the room filled with panoramic views and join the line to walk the ledge. If you’re afraid of heights like me… that lap will help you work out a lot of the nerves.
