2025 Dating wrapped💗🤍

helu zesties 🍋

Rewriting this because I feel like its clearer this way~ and I included some lessons that I took away from dating last year 🤧 It was an emotional rollercoaster for sure.

1. The one I started 2025 with

How we met

We broke up

2. Intellectual man

3. The "nice" guy

How it started

Some things I learnt about nice guy syndrome

4. Sweet guy that just wasn't ready to date.

I didnt write about him much cus im so tired hahah of things not working out, well i guess we had good convos while things lasted and not much hard feelings tbh, we just faded off.

5. The evergreen dood

Well I met him at the same time as sweet guy.. and to me I usually wont date people that don't have any experiences in relationships because.. I didn't want to teach someone how to manuvere a relationship i guess. I did find him very attractive though, still do. But yea I was tired of chasing and i feel like our timing just never matched. It doesn't help that he was quite inconsistent with his texting and it always felt like he was super busyy soo I didn't wanna interrupt his life either.

Well we just went on a trip and he said he found someone new soo I guess we will just be friends..

(will share about the trip soonz we went yogyakarta)

Thank you fo reading till here c: 🍋💕💕

... Read moreReflecting on my dating experiences in 2025 really helped me understand what I truly need in a partner and in a relationship. One important lesson I learned is the value of consistency over intensity. At first, I was drawn to intense emotional highs, but over time it became clear that steady, respectful communication creates a healthier foundation. For example, my experience with the "one I started 2025 with" showed me how love bombing can feel thrilling but sometimes masks deeper issues like avoidant behavior and unresolved trauma. Staying longer than I should only prolonged my emotional pain. I also came to realize that mental chemistry, such as shared interests and deep conversations, doesn't guarantee emotional compatibility. My connection with the intellectual man taught me that emotional maturity and stability are essential for a lasting relationship. It's okay to walk away when these elements aren’t present, even if the intellectual bond is strong. Another critical takeaway was about "nice guy syndrome"—sometimes, people who seem kind may have expectations or behaviors that don’t align with your needs, and trusting your gut feeling is crucial. I discovered that I don’t need to justify ending things if something feels off. Dating the sweet guy who wasn’t ready made me aware of how important it is to identify red flags and avoid trying to fix someone else’s unresolved issues. It reinforced the lesson that personal readiness matters deeply in relationships. The "evergreen dood" experience showed me the challenge of mismatched timing and inconsistent communication, which can lead to ambiguity and confusion. I realized the importance of clear intentions and mutual effort. Overall, 2025 taught me to prioritize myself: to hold boundaries firmly, not to overextend emotionally, and to wait patiently for the right person who is emotionally sensitive, understanding, and supportive. This self-awareness journey was empowering and reminded me that being single and carefree can also be fulfilling. I encourage anyone navigating the complex world of dating to listen to their feelings, observe actions closely, and never settle for less than what makes them truly feel valued and secure.

My 2025 wrapped: getting married, moving from 🇸🇬 to 🇺🇸
2025 felt like a coming-of-age year for me. I got married, moved out, then moved halfway across the world. Physically it feels as though my body is being pushed through hyperspace portals, thrust into one huge life change after another. Mentally I’m only running as fast as my legs can carry me, try
