I don’t know if 16/17 year old us knew what we had coming our way 🥹💛
Looking back at those early days when we were just 'young, dumb, broke, high school kids,' it’s incredible to see how far life has taken us. Being 16 or 17, my partner and I had no idea about the challenges and joys that awaited us, but holding onto each other helped us grow stronger. Transitioning from high school sweethearts to married life was an exciting but sometimes overwhelming journey. Balancing school, work, and our relationship taught us patience and resilience. I remember those early years as a mix of laughter, tears, and valuable lessons about compromise and commitment. Now, as a mom of four and a baseball mom, life is wonderfully busy and rewarding. Watching our kids grow reminds me of how much we’ve grown too. Parenthood has added new dimensions to our relationship and has taught us to appreciate the small moments even more. For anyone navigating young love or early marriage, I’d say embrace every moment, even when it feels uncertain. Life will throw its hurricanes, but love and support can guide you through. Cherishing your shared experiences, celebrating milestones like our 7 years together, and committing to continuous growth as partners and parents are key to building a lasting and fulfilling relationship.
