That was a lot!

Really liked the book. It “felt” long but having seen how long the next 2 are, I’ll have to mentally prepare! Lol! Darian and Lor really dragged things out, it really tested my patience since I have virtually none. The story was basically a crime drama with supernatural creatures. I guessed correctly who initially hired Darian but everything else was kinda crazy. It gave Crescent City but less Fae and more demons and crime running the system. Like Gotham City and Batman is Darian! But also has no problem unaliving ppl at the fight pits! lol! #cityofgodsandmonsters #kaylaedwards #bookreviews2025
