FACE AND BODY ACNE!!

... Read moreDealing with acne on both your face and body can be really frustrating, especially when typical face treatments don’t seem to work on your back or shoulders. One thing I've learned is that harsh soaps and scrubs actually do more harm than good. When treating acne, you want to avoid exfoliating too aggressively because it spreads bacteria and can cause scarring. Instead, using a gentle cleanser with a low pH helps maintain your skin’s natural barrier. An unexpected culprit in body acne can be shampoo and conditioner residue. If these products run down your back during showers, they clog your pores and lead to breakouts. So always rinse your body thoroughly after washing your hair. Also, tight synthetic clothing traps sweat and heat, creating a perfect breeding ground for acne. Switching to loose, breathable cotton, especially during workouts or while sleeping, significantly helps reduce body acne flare-ups. For targeted treatment, I found dark spot pads available on Amazon to be quite effective for fading acne marks on both face and body without causing irritation. Consistent use can visibly improve skin tone. Overall, combining gentle cleansing, proper rinsing, avoiding harsh scrubs, and wearing breathable fabrics has made a noticeable difference in managing my acne both on my face and body.
