Sugar Glider

Sugar glider, sometimes referred to as a glider kangaroo (English: sugar glider, Australia sugar glider; scientific name: Petaurus breviceps), is a small mammal, classified as an animal in the basal layer of a possum marsupial, because in females there is a marsupial, used for their young to live until they grow up.

Sugarglyder is outwardly very similar to flying squirrels, but is a different rank of animal, as flying squirrels are among the rodent ranks.

Sugar glyder is a herd of 6-10 or more animals, and each herd has its own clearly defined territory, in which the top male has a scent release to determine his or her own territory, aged 10-15 years on average. Naturally, the Sugar glyder lives in a tree, and therefore has sharp nails using the island to jump over from one tree to another.

The hair is very soft, and the area beside its body is webbed, which can be spread from the front legs to the back legs to track the wind when gliding, like a flying squirrel or a marmot.

It is a nocturnal animal, the main food is insects, and the fruit is a secondary food. When mature, the length of the nose to the tail is 11 inches.

Spreading from Papua New Guinea to Australia in the eastern hemisphere, it can be divided into 7 subspecies (see table).

With its cuteness, along with its small, aggressive nature, it has made Sugar Glider popular as a pet. It is now possible to breed in the shelter.

The habit of Sugar Glider is a very funny, playful and tame creature to pay attention to and play with it often.
