Beach trip to Sunny Isles Beach Florida

Destination✈️ : Sunny Isles Beach/Miami/ Florida

Where I stayed:Solé Miami, A Noble House Resort

✨ Pros: beach access, oceanfront views, clean, not overcrowded, friendly Staff, good food, met other solo travelers, nearby restaurants, good vibes, newer hotel, spacious rooms (my room had 3 bathrooms)

👀 Cons: no spa at this hotel 😱, too hot to stay at the beach for more than 3hours, traffic, ride from airport was expensive and took me 45min to get to my hotel midday on a weekday, Uber/Lift drivers can be sketchy.

🗺️ Tips: go during slow seasons (Jan, Feb, May, October, November), stay safe and do not share too much info with strangers. If you’re traveling alone make sure you do not disclose this always say you’re meeting family/friends. Book a hotel that has all the amenities you’re looking for such as oceanfront, dining, spa…

I had an amazing time. I travel to Florida twice a year with my family and solo as well. It reminds so much like my native country minus the hurricane and the intense party scene 😆.

Sunny Isles Beach

... Read moreWow, it’s funny how many of you are searching for the 'Sunny Isles Beach boardwalk'! While it might not be a traditional wooden boardwalk like some other famous Florida beaches, Sunny Isles Beach offers an absolutely stunning oceanfront promenade that gives you all the best parts of a boardwalk experience – and more! Think of it as a beautifully paved pathway stretching along the coastline, perfect for leisurely strolls, morning jogs, or just soaking in those incredible ocean views. During my last visit, I spent so much time walking along this stretch, just breathing in the salty air. It's truly a 'paradise on earth' feeling, especially when the sun is rising or setting over the water. You get fantastic vantage points of the expansive beach (which, by the way, is usually not overcrowded, a huge plus!). It’s such a refreshing way to start or end your day. I even spotted some great spots for an 'afternoon coffee' with a view right off the promenade. You can grab a delicious 'breakfast' at one of the nearby cafes before heading out, or enjoy some yummy 'food' from the diverse restaurants just a short walk away. I loved finding little spots for a refreshing 'drink' – perfect for those 'cheers to beach day' moments. This promenade really connects you to the heart of Sunny Isles Beach. You'll find easy access points to the sand, so you can easily switch between walking on the pavement and feeling the sand between your toes. It’s also where you’ll see people enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, whether they’re biking, rollerblading, or just taking a leisurely stroll. It’s a great place for people-watching and just enjoying the 'good vibes' of the area. One of my top tips, especially if you're planning a 'February trip' like I did, is to take advantage of the milder weather for longer walks. While the main article mentioned it can be too hot to stay on the beach for more than three hours during peak season, those slow seasons (January, February, May, October, November) are absolutely perfect for exploring the promenade and beach without overheating. Don't forget to slather on your favorite 'skincare products' and 'body oil' to protect your skin from the sun, even on cooler days! Hydration is key, and a good post-beach routine makes all the difference. Also, if you're looking for amenities near the promenade, you're in luck. Many of the oceanfront resorts, including places like Solé Miami, are right there, offering dining options and services easily accessible from the promenade. It really enhances the convenience of your stay. When I was enjoying the 'ocean view' from my room, I could often see people enjoying the promenade activities below. It definitely adds to the lively yet relaxed ambiance. So, even though it's not a traditional wooden boardwalk, the Sunny Isles Beach oceanfront promenade offers an equally charming and practical experience for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and activities of this Florida gem. It perfectly complements the peaceful "jazz with a view" moments you'll find at your resort, offering another layer of relaxation and enjoyment to your trip.
