Shrinking 2cm around my tummy? Heck yeah!
So I did a little thing!
I told myself I would do a 5 days challenge to see if I could get any results and followed through.
Bonus: I got positive results!
I know, I know. You can barely see the difference, but hey, it was only 5 days. Very Fun days.
First- I had PTO (no vacation plans) and I just wanted to make the most out of it. So I took care of myself - intensively. Haha
The main things for me were to keep on going with what I had established- My wood and infrared therapy, start with lifting exercises but focusing on my tummy area, get back to running and build a supplemental routine to pair with my new fitness goals.
My routine was:
Take creatine, BCAA and L-carnitine
Wood therapy followed by infrared therapy before gym
Abs workout followed by running
Shower (because we are hygienic)
B-flat firming cream
Take protein shake
-For five days in a row-
*The last day was my *rest day* and I didn’t exercised (my core was very tired and I was about to get my period so ~ugh.
I didn’t change my diet and the most important- I didn’t starved myself. (I eat okay, ladies)
AND I DRANK A TON OF WATER 💦 (so important)
My results:
I started the challenge weighing 140lbs - finished with 137.9lbs.
My measurements were:
-Start/ End-
Waist: 72.9cm/ Waist: 72.4cm
Bellybutton: 78.5cm/ Bellybutton: 76.2cm
Lower tummy: 85.5cm/ Lower tummy: 84.4cm
*I used a normal measurement tape
>My stomach skin is SO SMOOTH<
Am I happy? HECK YEAH!
And very much ready for the next *little* challenge :)
See you next time!

It's so common to look in the mirror and wonder, "Why is my waist so wide?" Trust me, I've been there! While a lot of factors contribute to our body shape, if you're feeling like your midsection could use a little extra love, there are definitely things you can try. It's not always about drastic changes; sometimes, it's about consistency and understanding what truly works. One big culprit for a 'wider' feeling waist is often bloating or water retention. Even if you eat generally well, certain foods or simply not drinking enough water can make a huge difference. That's why staying super hydrated, like drinking a ton of water throughout the day, is crucial – it helps flush out excess sodium and reduces puffiness. Another factor can be posture! Seriously, just standing taller and engaging your core can instantly make your waist appear more cinched. When it comes to targeted efforts, I've learned that it's a multi-pronged approach. You might have heard about 'wood therapy' or 'infrared therapy' for body sculpting, and while they can offer benefits like improved circulation and lymphatic drainage, they really shine when paired with other efforts. Think of them as excellent companions to your fitness journey, helping with skin texture and feeling smoother. The key is to be consistent with them, just like you would with your workouts. Speaking of workouts, focusing on core training doesn't just mean endless crunches. Incorporating exercises that target your deeper abdominal muscles, like regular leg raises, seated crunches, and even back extensions, can make a huge impact. These help strengthen your entire core, which can naturally draw in your waistline over time. Don't forget about cardio, too! Running or other forms of cardio are fantastic for overall fat loss, which will definitely contribute to a smaller midsection. Remember, it's about building a strong, functional core, not just surface-level abs. And what about supplements? For me, using protein powder, creatine, L-carnitine, and BCAAs was about supporting muscle recovery and energy levels during my intense 5-day push. They're not magic pills, but they can definitely help you get the most out of your workouts. Firming creams, like the ones I used, can also contribute to that smooth skin feeling, which is a lovely bonus and makes you feel more confident about your progress. Ultimately, finding a routine that combines hydration, smart nutrition (even small tweaks can help!), targeted core work, and supportive therapies is a great way to address that 'wide waist' feeling and work towards a healthier, happier you!
