Vending Machine for a pre-wedding shoot 😍

Lionel & Lashanda’s pre-wed was the kind that reminded us why we love doing this 🤍🥹

These two met all the way back in primary school… like real childhood-to-forever kind of story. So when they said they wanted an “interesting school shoot”, it just felt right — not just for the aesthetic, but because it actually meant something to them. Walking the same grounds again as grown-ups, now planning a life together? That’s the kind of full-circle moment we live for.

And of course… the weather decided to test us 😂 It was wet, it was gloomy, it was the kind of day where you think, “how are we gonna make this nice?” But somehow, it made everything even more them — playful, unbothered, just laughing through it.

We ended up using the vending machines (yes, the vending machines!!!) and honestly it turned into one of our favourite parts of the shoot. The colours, the reflections, the little “buy a drink then tease each other” moments… it was so everyday and so real, and it photographed so well. Proof that you don’t need perfect conditions — you just need the right people, a bit of creativity, and the willingness to roll with it.

Lionel & Lashanda, thank you for trusting us and for bringing so much joy even in the rain. You made the wet weather look like part of the story, not a problem!

... Read moreIf you’re planning a pre-wedding shoot and looking to capture genuine moments without the fuss of formal attire, consider embracing casual outfits like Lionel and Lashanda did. Their approach shows how simple, everyday clothing can highlight natural chemistry and let your personalities shine through, especially in settings familiar and meaningful to you, like their old school grounds. For couples debating shoot dresses, blending comfort with a style that resonates with your story can make a huge difference. Think about coordinating colors rather than matching exactly, allowing each person to express themselves while maintaining harmony in your photos. Soft fabrics and shades that complement your surroundings—whether urban vending machines or lush parks—help create vibrant, relatable images. The shoot also reminds us that weather, even gloomy or rainy days, shouldn’t discourage you. Instead, use it creatively: reflections from wet surfaces, cozy moments under umbrellas, or colorful props can add a unique mood to your pictures. Don’t shy away from spontaneous fun, like playful teasing over a favorite drink, which brings authenticity to your album. Incorporating meaningful locations, like a childhood playground or a favorite city spot, adds a narrative layer to your photos. These places become more than backdrops; they hold memories and symbolize your journey together. Whether you’re aiming for casual pre-wedding photoshoot ideas or searching for the perfect pre-wedding shoot dresses for couples, remember that the most impactful images are those that tell your true story with comfort and creativity. Taking inspiration from tales like Lionel & Lashanda’s can guide you in creating timeless photos that feel both effortless and deeply personal.
