Photography moments: Horse Masks and Weddings 😍
Gerald & Joey’s wedding day felt like the perfect reflection of who they are: full of heart, full of personality, and most of all, full of FUN 🤍
The gate crash alone already set the tone for the day 😂 horse masks were involved, which honestly made it one of the most iconic and unforgettable gate crashes ever. It was chaotic in the best way, and exactly the kind of energy that made the whole day feel so uniquely them.
And one of my favourite details from the morning — Joey’s bridesmaids are all from the same secondary school, St Nicks 🥹 there’s just something so lovely about friendships that have grown with you through the years, and seeing them all show up for her on such a big day felt extra special.
By the time we got to the reception, it was so clear this celebration was never going to be the traditional kind — and that’s what made it so good. Gerald, being the engineer that he is, actually made his own gachapon machine for the wedding??? Truly next level. Their walk-in was filled with poppers and bubbles and so much joy, and the whole night felt less like a formal programme and more like one big celebration with everyone they love.
It was one of those wedding days that reminded me that there’s no one right way to celebrate — sometimes the best weddings are just the ones that feel the most true to you. Gerald & Joey, thank you for letting me witness and capture a day that was so unapologetically fun, personal, and full of love 🤍

Weddings that break away from tradition often leave the most lasting impressions, and Gerald & Joey’s wedding is a perfect example of this. The inclusion of quirky elements like horse masks during the gate crash added a playful and memorable twist that guests couldn’t stop talking about. It’s these unique personal touches that truly make a wedding memorable—not just for the couple, but also for everyone involved. Another standout feature was the close-knit circle of Joey’s bridesmaids, who all shared the bond of attending the same secondary school, St Nicks. Witnessing lifelong friendships come together on such a special day adds a heartfelt, emotional layer that resonates beyond the usual wedding festivities. It reminded me how important it is to honor the relationships that shape us along life’s journey, especially during milestone celebrations. Gerald’s ingenious creation of a personalized gachapon machine for the reception was truly next-level and highlighted how a couple’s personality can be reflected in their wedding day. This kind of creativity turns celebrations into interactive experiences, fostering joy and engagement among guests. The lively walk-in filled with poppers and bubbles further intensified the atmosphere of pure fun and celebration. From my experience as a wedding enthusiast, adding elements that showcase the couple’s hobbies or professional skills can make wedding days unforgettable. Whether it’s handmade decorations, interactive games, or meaningful traditions, these customizations create a more genuine and relaxed vibe that allows everyone to enjoy the day authentically. Ultimately, Gerald & Joey’s wedding is a beautiful reminder that there’s no one “right” way to celebrate love. Choosing what feels true to the couple’s spirit—mixing heartfelt moments with a dash of quirky fun—can make a wedding not only unique but deeply memorable. If you’re planning your own special day, consider embracing quirks and connections that define you both. It’s these genuine touches that turn weddings into stories worth sharing forever.
