And speaking of incredible, let's talk about the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie! That film was an absolute masterpiece, especially for Raph's journey. Watching him grapple with his leadership role, his fears, and ultimately stepping into his own power was so impactful. From the intense animation sequences to the emotional core of the brothers working together, that movie truly elevated everything we loved about the series. My favorite part has to be seeing him overcome his self-doubt and truly embrace his role as a protector, even when he felt he wasn't 'leader material.' His evolution from the hot-headed older brother to someone who could lead despite his insecurities, especially when faced with the Krang, was incredibly well-executed. It was such a powerful arc, and it really cemented why Raph is such an amazing character in any TMNT iteration, but especially in Rise. The action scenes involving him were just breathtaking, showcasing his brute strength combined with his deep love for his family. The emotional weight of his sacrifice and subsequent return hit me hard, and it perfectly showcased the bond between the brothers.
