Six years ago, sugar came to us the day no one wanted it to happen.
She was just a wandering dog trying to feed her three children, scouring food from a trash can at a gas station and crossing the street back to her children, but she couldn't get there.
One car hit her. The food that came for you was blown away in different directions.
Fortunately, someone witnessed the incident, rushed to carry her off the street, collected the children, and immediately brought her to our shelter.
Her back was broken. And she became paralyzed.
But even then, she's still a mother, still breastfeeding, still comforting, still and strong for you.
Today, after six years, Sugar is at the Care Unit with our wheelchair gang, and I can tell you that she is one of the most competitive in the gang. The most favorite is mud. When is the face? No hesitation! 🤣😍

Her children have had a warm home together since three years ago. Every one has a family that loves them very much.
Some very tired days, we just look at sugar and know why we keep doing this.
