I’m Potter!
"Potter's" life almost ended in terror.
We received a video that revealed he was trapped in a cage, while a woman violently hit his face and torso with a bat.
After confronting the doer, we can successfully bring Potter out to safety.
Today, Potter lives happily with our "Container Gang," a safe space beside the Care Unit. He is well socialized, has a lot of dog friends, and likes to walk out every day.
Although animal protection laws are difficult to enforce in many cases, seeing a dog like Potter have the opportunity to start a new life is the reason we move on.
Potter escaped cruelty, and now he deserves a home full of love. 🤍

We saved him from an abusive household after being sent a video showing him locked in a crate, while a woman beat him with a stick, striking his face and body.
After confronting the abuser, we were able to bring Potter to safety.
Today, Potter is thriving in our sanctuary's "Container Gang," a safe area next to our Care Unit. He is well-socialized, has many dog friends, and loves his long daily walks.
Animal welfare laws are still difficult to enforce, but every rescue dog like Potter reminds us why we keep going.
