The Best Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie

Yall. These are the BEST peanut butter chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. They are nice and crispy on the outside, and deliciously gooey on the inside.😋

This is a must try!👇🏻

YOU NEED:

1/2 c butter, room temp

1/2 c creamy peanut butter

1/4 c sugar

3/4 c packed brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 egg

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 1/4 c flour

1 c chocolate chips

RECIPE:

1. Cream butter and peanut butter together.

2. Add in sugars and mix til combined.

3. Add egg and vanilla, mix til combined.

4. Add in flour and baking soda, combine.

5. Fold in chocolate chips, then chill dough for 30 minutes.

6. Preheat oven to 350. Remove dough from fridge and begin making your cookies. Form 2 inch balls and flatten them out a bit. *tbh, I just pinched a good bit out and made “patties” about 2” wide and 1/2-3/4” thick.

7. Bake 10-12 minutes, depending on your cookie size. You’ll want to make sure they’re browned a bit on the edges.

8. Let them cool on a wire rack and enjoy!

... Read morePeanut butter chocolate chip cookies are a classic treat that many love. This recipe combines the rich, nutty flavor of peanut butter with the sweetness of chocolate, making for an irresistible dessert. Baking cookies at home offers numerous benefits, from allowing you to control the ingredients to providing a wonderful aroma in your kitchen. To enhance the flavor of your cookies, consider using high-quality chocolate chips, as they can make a significant difference in taste. For those who enjoy a bit of texture, adding chopped nuts alongside the chocolate can introduce a pleasing crunch. When baking, it’s also crucial to pay attention to temperature and time. Overbaking can lead to a dry cookie, so keep a close eye during the last few minutes. Letting the cookies cool on a wire rack ensures they maintain their perfect texture. If you want to add a twist to your cookies, try incorporating spices like cinnamon or a pinch of sea salt. These can elevate the flavor profile, adding depth to the classic combination. Finally, sharing cookies with friends and family can create lasting memories and may spark new baking traditions. Enjoy these cookies with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee for the perfect pairing!
