🌸 Spring - Early Summer (June)

▷ Kiso Lacquerware Festival and Narai Shukuba Festival
It is held on the first Saturday and Sunday of June every year. In addition to the lacquerware shops and crafts shops, there is a procession of "Ochatsubo Dochu" wearing period costumes on the last day. A prestigious daimyo procession popular with foreigners 🎎

▷ Naraijin Shrine Annual Festival (Summer Festival)
Yoimatsuri Festival August 11 and Main Festival August 12. A traditional festival with a history of over 256 years in which portable shrines, lion stalls, and Shinto horses parade through the post town.
The sight of the lanterns on the eaves of the houses at dusk is like a time slip 🏮
▷ Small fireworks display
Held at Waterside Park on August 16. In accordance with the season of the welcome fire and okuribi of the Bon Festival, the light of fireworks colors the post town fantastically with the cheers of children. 🎇

奈良井宿は中山道の宿場町として歴史的価値が高く、年間を通じて様々な伝統行事やイベントが行われています。特に6月の木曽漆器祭は、地元の職人が手掛ける漆器や工芸品がずらりと並び、掘り出し物が見つかるのが魅力です。最終日に開催される「お茶壺道中」の行列は、江戸時代の大名行列を模した華やかなもので、外国人観光客も楽しめるほど人気です。 夏の8月は奈良井鎮神社例大祭が目玉で、256年以上の歴史を誇る由緒ある祭りです。御神輿や獅子屋台が宿場町を練り歩き、夕暮れ時に灯される提灯の明かりが街並みに温かみを添え、まるで時代を超えたかのような美しい光景を作り出します。祭りの後には近隣の水辺公園で小規模ながら子どもたちの歓声に包まれた花火大会も開催され、お盆の迎え火・送り火の雰囲気を感じられます。 冬の2月に開催されるアイスキャンドル祭りは、雪に覆われた宿場町に氷のキャンドルが灯り、幻想的な風景が広がります。温かい灯りと静かな雪景色のコントラストは写真好きにもおすすめの季節イベントです。 アクセスは公共交通機関の利用が推奨され、特に祭り期間中は車両乗り入れ規制がありますので、事前に交通情報を確認すると良いでしょう。何度でも訪れたくなる奈良井宿のイベントは、歴史や文化を肌で感じる貴重な体験を提供してくれます。訪問の際はぜひ季節ごとのイベント情報を参考に、充実した旅の計画を立ててくださいね。
