A glass-walled station building designed and supervised by architect Kazuyo Sejima. The station itself is a famous place, which won the Good Design Award and the Brunel Award, the only international design competition related to railways.
The observation space is covered with glass and a large panoramic Pacific Ocean spreads, and the south side looks like a tropical resort.
