Politics suck. Ponies do not. That's why I'm a-political, and that's why I love animals more than people. I lost a bunch of followers in the last 24 hours, and at first, I thought it was an IG bot sweep. But then I realized it's because I commented yesterday about how crazy the TT ban has been and that I joined Bluesky. There's the impression that anyone on bluesky is, ya know, blue politically. But I joined bluesky because I'm a creator, and it's an app that's gaining traction. And with the uncertainty over TT and its related apps, I want to explore what's out there. That's my job. Or this job anyway.
But a bunch of people who like what I create decided they are too biased and closed-minded to still appreciate my art if they even just suspect I'm blue. As far as I'm concerned, I have no tolerance for that kind of thinking, so 👋. But for the record, anyone wanna know my "politics"? Its this: love everyone, do your best not to hurt anyone and provide a safe space for all to grow and thrive, everyone matters, everyone is equal, everyone deserves to be exactly who they are. Animals, people, trees, bugs, the earth.
That's it. That's what I believe. It's not blue. it's not red. It's not plaid, or polkadot, it's not stars and stripes. Its love. Thats it. Love. If you truly can't handle that, then yes, please see yourself out.
