Day #1 Hurricane 🌀 Helena Tent ⛺️
We live on the west coast of Florida, specifically, we live right next to or literally 5 min. Walk from the beaches. The hurricane is suppose to be here by 2pm. Today! Don’t worry we are safe! Our house is on highland, the highest in the county! So, that means family will be coming over here to ride the storm out! Yay 😵💫! J/k! Wouldn’t want it any other way 🥰! There is also No school the rest of the week! Every time we have our hurricane days we must build a fort! The girls 🩷 love ❤️ it to play and sleep in during the storm ⛈️! This is Taylor’s 1st hurricane 🌀 fort! #girlmom #toddlermom #hurricaneseason #hurricaneprep
As hurricane season approaches, it's crucial to be prepared and informed about safety measures. Building a cozy fort is not just fun for kids; it creates a secure space for them to feel safe during the storm. Many families use this time to bond and enjoy indoor activities. Remember to stock up on essentials like water, non-perishable foods, and first aid kits. It's also wise to stay updated with local weather forecasts and have an emergency kit ready. Additionally, discussing safety plans with your family can alleviate anxiety and ensure everyone knows what to do in case of emergencies. Take this opportunity to involve your children in preparedness discussions; it can be educational and empowering. Let's turn storm days into memorable family experiences!

What a good mom🥰
