These Patched Table Lamps from @panisaobjects aren’t just about glow — they carry stories stitched in wood.
panisa grew up inside her family’s wooden toy factory in bangkok, where scraps, sawdust, and play were everyday materials. she went on to study industrial design at chula and later an mfa in new york, but that childhood world of wood and whimsy still lingers.
so when she patches wooden tiles together with elastic thread (no glue, just clever joinery) to form these glowing sculptures, it’s not just a lamp — it’s a continuation of a lifelong play with material, memory, and light.
