Books I’m reading this month

Since this year I have decided to focus on SELF..

1. Self-care has never been a huge thing for me. I felt as long as I have bathe, brush my teeth and hair and looked descent I was good. Not until 3 months ago. Now I know it’s way more than that and it will also boost confidence

2. Self -development never knew how Important this was. I wasn’t taught that self development helps you grow into the person you are becoming or want to become.

3. Self-Love I thought this came naturally. No it doesn’t (Well at least for me it didn’t). It was after I had someone to tell me you have to love yourself before you can love anyone else. I thought I was loving myself until after a true friend told me if you loved yourself you wouldn’t just accept anything and I need to understand my worth.

4.Self-confidence when you are confident and comfortable with yourself no one could tell you your worth.

... Read moreAs we navigate the complexities of personal growth, it's essential to explore literature that enriches our understanding of self. One highly recommended book is 'The Gifts of Imperfection' by Brené Brown, which delves into the importance of vulnerability and embracing imperfections. Another impactful read is 'You Are a Badass' by Jen Sincero, which inspires readers to identify their self-limiting beliefs and encourages action towards their best self. Incorporating daily self-care practices can be grounded in the teachings of these authors, who advocate for prioritizing mental health and well-being. Journaling, meditation, and dedicated 'me time' can significantly enhance self-awareness. Additionally, it's vital to cultivate self-love, as emphasized in 'Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It' by Kamal Ravikant, which provides actionable steps to nurture a genuine connection with oneself. Moreover, sharing these insights and journeys in a book club or community can foster meaningful connections and support. Engaging in discussions about these books enhances understanding and offers diverse perspectives that can guide personal transformations. Overall, make it a priority to not only read but also apply these principles in daily life to witness profound changes in self-perception and confidence.

Books I’m Reading to Get Better At Praying
One of my biggest struggles as a Christian is with prayer. I mean, I don’t think I do it right, I know I don’t do it enough and I don’t want to bother God with my meaningless stuff. I know God values me and cares about the things I care about but…well, I guess I don’t care if I don’t believ
