Here are some of my favorite dresses I love to wear during the spring and summer!! It’s freezing in the Midwest so I hope these warm up your feed ☀️
1. Ross Black Sparkling Fringed Party Dress. It is a women’s size small and I purchased it for $25. I have worn this dress to many concerts and parties had over the summer! Comes with adjustable straps and side zipper. Very comfortable to move around in!
2. H&M Floral Babydoll Dress. Women’s size small and I purchased it for $20. I have had this dress for years!! It is a go to of mine. The fabric is very breathable and comfortable to wear during the humid Midwest summers! Can style it up or keep it casual!
3. Nordstrom Rack Black Athletic Dress. Women’s size small and I purchased it for $30. I worked at a childcare agency over the summer and we spent a lot of time outside. Would highly recommend for the quality and comfortability! Also love the cut out details and scalloped edges. Built in bra and shorts is MAJOR selling point for me!
As someone who has navigated changing seasons in the Midwest, I know how important it is to have dresses that not only look great but also keep you comfortable through variable weather. The Ross Black Sparkling Fringe Party Dress is a versatile find for evening events or concerts—I love how its adjustable straps and side zipper make it easy to wear all night without discomfort. Plus, its fringe detail adds fun movement and sparkle, perfect for standing out. When it comes to daytime and casual wear, the H&M Floral Babydoll Dress has been my go-to for years. Made from 100% cotton, its breathability is ideal for those hot, humid days. I appreciate that the loose fit gives me freedom to move while still looking put-together. This dress transitions easily with simple accessories from casual brunch outings to more dressy occasions. For active summer days, the Nordstrom Rack Black Athletic Dress has surprised me with its quality and thoughtful design. The built-in bra and shorts mean no fussing with separate pieces, which is excellent when I’m busy outdoors or at work. The cut-out details and scalloped edges add subtle style without compromising practicality. I’ve even used it as a swimsuit cover due to its quick-drying, breathable material. These dresses prove that you don't need to break the bank to build a versatile and chic warm-weather wardrobe. Shopping smart with attention to comfort and functionality will keep you stylish without sacrificing ease. Plus, thrift-store finds or discounted items like these show that great fashion can be affordable. I encourage trying similar styles and brands to find what fits your personal taste and lifestyle best.
