I moved to Nashville to do music full time. I’ve written songs prior to moving here, but lately I’ve just been super motivated and excited since my songwriting abilities have gotten better lol! I’ve written 10+ songs in the past month. My goal is to write 100 songs in 2026 (2 songs a week).
I’m an Artist first and foremost but songwriting has definitely grown on me.
What are your goals as a songwriter/musician?
What does your process look like?
I typically start with a concept or a title and then work on the melody, and then learn to play it on guitar. Sometimes I find a guitar riff first and go from there. But it usually starts with a concept.
