私も思春期の子育てで、急変する子どもの態度に戸惑い、どう接してよいか悩んだ時期がありました。子どもが急に家族に心を閉ざしたり、反抗的になったりすると、つい親として責任を感じてしまいますよね。 でも、ホルモンの影響で脳や心が大きく変わる時期と知ると、無理に変えようとせず、子どものペースで成長を見守ることが大切だと実感しました。私の場合、「急かさない」「受け止める」を意識して、一歩引いて接することで、子どもも少しずつ落ち着きを取り戻しました。 また、「お母さん！どんな私も好き？」という心の叫びを感じ取り、子どもがありのままの自分を受け入れてもらえていると安心できる環境づくりを心がけました。親が生き生きと楽しそうにしていることが、子どもにとって大きな励みになるとも感じています。 親子関係に行き詰まった時は、一緒にゆっくり歩くように、焦らずに関わることが何よりの支えとなります。思春期は変化の連続ですが、親子で乗り越えられる貴重な成長の時間です。この気持ちを大切にして、今日も家族をそっと見守りながら、自分自身も前向きに過ごしていきましょう。
