✅ 11/10 ~ This is the Moisture Surge Overnight Facial Mask from Clinique. I finished a mini size and cut it open to scoop out every last drop of product I loved it so much! This is the most insanely hydrating overnight mask I’ve ever used! I love Clinique skincare and the moisture surge line is by far the best of their lines! I have oily and acne prone skin, and this does not break me out and doesn’t make my skin feel oilier. But if you have dry skin this would be perfect for you! I love using the moisture surge moisturizer and then this on top and I wake up to the smoothest, hydrated skin ever! I don’t love that this is so expensive but it is definitely a high quality product and you can really see the results. #productempties#empties#productreview#october#skincare

... Read moreOkay, so let's deep dive into the texture of this moisture surge overnight mask masque hydratant nuit because I know that's a big question for many of you, especially when evaluating prestige beauty products. When I first applied it, I was a bit worried it might feel heavy or greasy, particularly with my oily and acne-prone skin. Many rich masks can feel like a suffocating blanket, but honestly, this one is surprisingly lightweight for how intensely hydrating it is. It's a gel-cream consistency that just melts into your skin. And the best part? It sinks in beautifully without leaving that tacky, sticky residue that some overnight masks do. You know that uncomfortable feeling when your face sticks to the pillow? Not with this one! It feels more like a really luxurious, rich moisturizer that just absorbs, leaving a soft, dewy finish, not a greasy film.
I’ve heard some people wonder if the Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask is 'overhyped' when it comes to improving texture and tone, and I totally get why. There are so many products out there promising miracles, and it's easy to become skeptical. But from my personal experience, waking up with visibly smoother skin – especially around areas where I tend to get a bit rougher texture or minor dry patches – has been a real game-changer. It doesn't claim to be a miracle worker for deep wrinkles or severe hyperpigmentation, but for overall skin texture and a more even, plump feel, it absolutely delivers. My skin feels incredibly soft, almost baby-like, and looks much more refreshed and less dull. This consistent hydration definitely contributes to a healthier skin barrier, which in turn helps improve overall tone.
For those with dry skin, I imagine this would be an absolute dream come true – it’s like a big drink of water for your face that lasts all night. And even for my combination, acne-prone skin, it never felt occlusive or like it was suffocating my pores. In fact, by keeping my skin properly hydrated, I've noticed less overproduction of oil in the long run. Sometimes, oily skin can actually be dehydrated, leading it to produce more oil to compensate. This mask helps balance that out.
If you're on the fence about the price, I'd say consider it an investment in your skin's hydration and overall health. A little goes a long way; you really only need a thin layer to get the full benefits. I started with a mini size (just like the one in the picture!) and that lasted me a good while, giving me enough time to really see the benefits before committing to the full size. It's not just about a temporary glow; it's about building healthier, more resilient skin over time. The sensory experience is also lovely – a subtle, fresh scent that isn't overpowering. So, if you're evaluating Clinique on their masks and looking for something that delivers on its promises for deep hydration without the stickiness, genuinely helps with skin texture and tone, and feels luxurious without being heavy, this moisture surge overnight mask might just be your next holy grail. Don't just take my word for it, try a sample if you can feel the difference yourself!
