I Played The NEW Happy Ghast Update in Minecraft Hardcore
Building a ghast stable in Minecraft Hardcore after the new Happy Ghast Update was a bigger challenge and more rewarding than I initially thought! Beyond just containing these floating menaces, the update seems to open up new possibilities for interaction and even aesthetic integration. If you're looking for some creative ghast stable ideas, let me share what I've learned from my own experience. First off, why even bother with a ghast stable? For me, it was a mix of curiosity about the new update and a desire to create a unique, functional build in Hardcore mode. Whether you want a dedicated 'Ghast Station' for farming tears safely or simply an impressive 'IMAL ZOO' exhibit, planning is key. When it comes to design, you have a few options. A practical Ghast Station might focus on obsidian and reinforced blocks to contain their fireballs, ensuring your precious build doesn't go up in smoke. Think about a collection system for their tears; I always forget how useful a Redstone setup can be here. But if you're like me and want something more visually stunning, lean into the 'IMAL ZOO' concept. I've seen some incredible builds using a mix of Nether blocks and even overworld elements for contrast. Imagine a ghast floating serenely within an enclosure decorated with 'Leaf Litter' and vibrant 'Firefly Bushes' (if you can find a way to make them work in the Nether biome, or build your stable in the overworld!). For my Hardcore build, I focused on making it look good while being incredibly secure. Using 'Bamboo Fence' sections (fireproofed, of course, or strategically placed) can add a nice natural touch to observation decks. I even crafted a small 'Little House' nearby, just a safe spot to watch my ghasts without worrying about unexpected fireballs. For materials, a 'Netherite axe' is your best friend for quickly gathering resources, and don't forget plenty of 'Large Chests' for organization. I experimented with 'Spruce Stains' on wood blocks like 'Oak Slab' and 'Oak Log' to create a richer, darker aesthetic that complemented the ghasts' environment. Lighting with 'Torches' or glowstone was crucial, not just for aesthetics but for preventing other unwanted spawns. One tip I can’t stress enough: give them space! Ghasts are huge, and a cramped stable just looks sad. And if you ever manage to transport one, remember a 'Lead' can be surprisingly useful for other mobs you might want to add to your 'IMAL ZOO.' Building this ghast habitat has been one of my most satisfying projects in this Happy Ghast Update, and I hope these ideas inspire you to craft your own unique ghast stable!
