Finally under 200!

Finally seeing that number drop below 200…even with the inflammation and it feels AMAZING. 🥹✨

This journey hasn’t been easy—there were days I wanted to give up, moments I felt stuck, and times I questioned if I’d ever get here. But I kept going, one step at a time.

This isn’t just about a number on a scale… it’s about showing up for myself, choosing better, and proving that I can do hard things. 💪❤️

Still a work in progress, but today I’m celebrating this win. 🎉

... Read moreReaching a weight milestone like going under 200 pounds often feels like much more than just a number change on the scale. Personally, I found the hardest part wasn’t just the physical effort but maintaining a positive mindset during setbacks such as inflammation flare-ups or plateaus. It helps tremendously to celebrate small victories along the way because they fuel your motivation to keep going despite obstacles. One strategy I embraced was breaking down my journey into manageable steps rather than focusing solely on the end goal. This made the process feel less overwhelming and more achievable. I also found value in tracking non-scale victories like increased energy, improved mood, and better sleep quality, which reminded me that progress isn’t always visible through weight alone. Another key aspect is self-compassion—being kind to yourself when things don’t go as planned encourages persistence. Sharing your milestones, whether they're big or small, with a supportive community or through hashtags like #ProgressNotPerfection and #SmallWinsBigResults can provide encouragement and accountability. Finally, choosing better every day means making lifestyle decisions that align with your goals without demanding perfection. It’s about balance—honoring the journey, celebrating the wins, and learning from the challenges. Achieving a breakthrough moment like dropping below 200 pounds can inspire continued efforts and reinforce a healthier, sustainable relationship with yourself and your body.
