I really liked this book! I will say it was predictable and fit the mold for a fantasy romance, and typically books that feel really basic can either be a hit or miss for me, but I really enjoyed this one. Even though the storyline isn’t super unique, the magic system felt new, the characters were likable, and it was fast paced.
You’ll love this book if you like enemies to lovers, fake dating, slow burn, light plot and heavy on the romance. I was able to finish this book pretty quickly, it kept me engaged the whole time and had a great twist ending. The second book comes out next year and I’ll be looking forward to reading it.
