Worth the read or no?? ✨🖤🐦‍⬛

The first book in the series, Butcher and Blackbird, is one of my all time favorite books! So when this one was released I could not wait to get my hands on it. I’m currently about 80% of the way through and I’ve already got some thoughts.

✨ Is this one as good as the first one? That’s a hard NO. However it is still witty, cute, comedic. So if you like Brynne Weavers writing I still think it’s worth the read.

✨One thing Brynne Weaver does sooo good is her reading playlist. I 100% recommend reading while listening to it. Again…I think the first book had a better playlist by far but this one is still very well pieced together and fits the vibes good. (Plus there’s a bonus track written specifically for the book).

✨I do wish there was more of the high intensity scenes that we get in the first book. My heart rate has not gone up while reading this one, so I’m a bit disappointed by that. However it’s cute, I might even say “cozy” and I’ve enjoyed what it’s given me.

⬇️⬇️⬇️ Have you read this book?? What are your thoughts???
