Elysian Fields Berry

... Read moreOkay, so I finally got my hands on the Elysian Fields Berry perfume, and I've been so excited to share my first impressions! The moment I sprayed it, I was instantly transported to a sun-drenched, fruity paradise. It's truly an Extrait De Parfum, so you can tell right away it has a luxurious feel and promises serious longevity – a real treat for those looking for a lasting scent. The initial burst is definitely dominated by that vibrant Tangerine. It’s not just a generic citrus; it's bright and juicy, almost making your mouth water. This quickly blends into the 'Tropical Fruits' middle notes, and I can almost pick out hints of sweet pineapple and other exotic delights – just like the visuals with the bottle surrounded by fresh fruit! It’s not overly sweet or cloying, but rather a fresh, uplifting sweetness that feels utterly perfect for warmer weather. This is where the 'berry' aspect truly shines, giving it that playful, slightly tart, yet utterly delightful character that would make it an ideal 'berries weekend perfume'. It evokes images of sipping a fruity cocktail on a tropical beach. As it settles on my skin, the magic continues. The base notes of Vanilla, Musk, and Sandalwood emerge beautifully. The vanilla is creamy and warm, not a sugary gourmand, but a sophisticated sweetness that grounds the fruity top and middle. Paired with a soft, clean musk and the smooth, woody touch of sandalwood, it creates a comforting yet alluring dry-down. It’s elegant without losing its playful, fruity heart. I can really feel the depth that comes from the vanilla beans and vanilla flower imagery – it's a very natural, inviting warmth that lingers pleasantly. I found the longevity to be excellent, lasting easily 6-8 hours on my skin, and even longer on clothes, which is fantastic for an Extrait De Parfum. The sillage is moderate; it’s noticeable without being overwhelming, making it versatile for both daytime and evening wear during spring and summer. This isn't just a fleeting 'fragancia'; it's a presence. If you're someone who enjoys fragrances that are bright, fruity, and have a sophisticated warmth, or if you're exploring alternatives to popular fruity scents like a 'pop Kate Spade perfume' or even curious about other 'Elysian' scents, Elysian Fields Berry is definitely worth trying. It has that enchanting quality that makes you feel a bit more cheerful and bright throughout the day. It’s become my go-to for adding a touch of 'Elysian' delight to any ordinary day, making every moment feel a little bit more special and luxurious.
