To be honest, I was nervous. I felt hesitant, uncomfortable, and completely out of my comfort zone. But I knew the Lord had placed it on my heart, and obedience doesn’t always feel easy.
So I did it anyway.
I stood up and shared our story-the pain, the struggles, the miracles, and the faithfulness of God through it all.
When it was over, I walked outside the church, and there was a rainbow stretched across the sky.
Some may call it a coincidence, but to me it felt like a gentle reminder from God: “I am with you. I see you. Thank you for being obedient.”
So many times we wait until we feel ready, confident, or comfortable before we step out in faith. But sometimes God simply asks us to trust Him and take the next step.
Tonight reminded me that God’s presence is often found on the other side of our obedience.
If God is calling you to do something that feels scary, uncomfortable, or impossible, don’t let fear stop you. Your obedience may be the very thing someone else needs to see to find hope.
And sometimes, if we’re paying attention, God leaves little reminders along the way that He was there the whole time. 🌈❤️ Thank you @Northridge Church for allowing me to have this opportunity to spread good news! #testimony#healingtestimony

... Read moreSharing a personal testimony publicly can feel daunting, especially when it involves recounting deep struggles and moments of vulnerability. I've found that the key to overcoming this fear is reminding yourself that your story might be exactly what someone else needs to hear. It's common to wait until we feel completely ready or comfortable, but often, growth and breakthrough happen when we leap into obedience despite our discomfort.
The imagery of a rainbow following a testimony is incredibly powerful, symbolizing God's promises and presence in our lives, even when things feel uncertain or challenging. This visible sign can serve as reassurance that we are not alone in our journey. In many faith traditions, rainbows represent hope, renewal, and divine faithfulness—making them a fitting metaphor for the encouragement we might receive after stepping out in faith.
In my own experience, each time I faced nervousness about sharing my journey, I noticed subtle signs or moments that reminded me of God's support—whether through kind words from others, unexpected opportunities, or peaceful feelings that followed. These experiences build confidence and deepen our trust in the process.
If you feel called to share your story, consider starting with small steps, such as writing down your experiences or sharing with a close friend or group. Over time, as you continue to be obedient to that calling, you might find more open doors to encourage others and witness the transformative power of your testimony. Remember, your obedience can spark healing and hope far beyond what you imagine.
Ultimately, obedience in faith journeys often leads us not only to personal growth but also to community impact. So, trust that your steps, however hesitant at first, are meaningful and valued. Pay attention to the little reminders and encouragements, like the rainbow in the sky, that affirm you are seen and supported along the way.
