Powerless - Elsie Silver ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I could absolutely not be more obsessed with a novel. This got me so quickly out of my reading rut and now I can’t get enough. Elsie Silver does an amazing job at banter, building incredible tension, and giving readers a perfect mix of innocent romance and spice. Forever obsessed with Jasper and Sloane. Character development is amazing. I was always putting down the book wanting more. Best childhood crush to lovers book. FAVORITE book boyfriend.

Brutal Prince - Sophie Lark ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing second read to get me out of my reading slump. I was hesitant in the beginning, given it seemed to be a heavier gang related novel than it was, which didn’t seem up my alley. Two rival families step up an arranged marriage for their children, and it ended in a beautiful love story. Aida was the most powerful female lead I’ve ever encountered and I loved every second of it. She didn’t take crap from anyone and the banter was amazing. Incredible enemies to lovers. Good balance of spice and romance.

Flawless - Elsie Silver ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Being in the same series/universe as Powerless, I was ecstatic to move on to this novel. Rhett was the perfect rough around the edges bull rider that had his classic love/hate moments. Summer was the perfect opposite, full of sunshine all the time, yet didn’t put up with anything she didn’t have to. Their story will take you for a spin, but you’ll end up so glad you stayed for the ride. The perfect “you can’t touch her” to lovers.

By a Thread - Lucy Score ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Booktok got me super excited to dive head first into this massive novel. I go back n forth on my true feelings about this book. It was really an emotional rollercoaster, but I kind of loved it. The tension build up was actually insane and did not disappoint when the spice kicked in. I do think Dominic and Ally were way too old to be acting as immature as they did at points (more so Dom). BUT the banter between them was beyond perfect and I ended up falling in love with the story at the end. Great forbidden love story.

Reckless - Elsie Silver ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just finished this book today, again ecstatic that it was in the Chestnut Springs series when I started. The first 100 or so pages was not giving me much hope, but I needed to follow through to the end and I’m glad I did. Throwing a curve ball very quickly into the novel, along with the time jump, had me questioning the timeline of the story as a whole. This novel definitely is the odd ball of the other two from the series I’ve already read, but I quickly started to fall in love with Theo and Winter. The banter between the two were great and I loved watching Theo break down all of Winter’s walls and insecurities. Spicy, but also romantic and wholesome.
