How to Paint with Wood Paint Don

Many people buy wooden crayons, but when the work looks flat, the color is not fresh, or the shade is not smooth.

Today I combine techniques and tips that are practical. Easy to understand, new ones can do it.

1️⃣ Choose a pencil to suit the job.

Soft Core → Fresh Color, Easy to Blend, Fits Gradient Work

Hard Core → Sharp Lines Fits for Detailing

💡 If you have a budget, you should have both and switch to the same image.

2️⃣ Paper is more important than I thought.

Smooth Texture → Gain Silky Color. Clear Look Work

Rough Texture (Tooth) → Fits Down Many Layers Because Paper Texture Handles Color Well

📌 Choose paper to match the job style will make the color more beautiful.

3️⃣. Silky coloring technique.

Layering → Start with light color first. Gradually add dark color layer by layer.

Burnishing → Use a white or very light color over the top, so that the color is smooth.

Gradient → Gradually increase the pressure from light to heavy. Chase the shade to be tender.

Cross-hatching → multidirectional overlap to increase dimension

4️⃣ Tips that make the color beautiful and not smudge.

Don't press hard in the first place. The paper will waste. The colored texture will not be smooth.

Keep turning the pencil when draining so that the tip is always sharp.

Use hand paper to prevent rubbing until smudged.

5️⃣. Job retention.

Inject a thin Fixative Spray, anti-pale and dustproof.

Store in a file or frame to prolong the life of the portfolio.
