Growing a content creator account

Hey!

I’ve been sitting with this thought for a while now, I absolutely love sharing the journey of my little business, but somewhere in between the packing, the pop-ups and event activations… I’ve been wanting to share a little more of life itself. The parts behind the scenes, the things I love outside work, the bits of me that don’t always make it onto a business page.

Being faceless in this digital world is tricky. Your content either speaks for itself, or you end up talking to your own shadow, and honestly, I’m okay with both. What matters is showing up genuinely, in whatever way feels right.

At pop-ups, I get asked the sweetest and most thoughtful questions, what I used to do, whether this is my full-time thing, how I balance being a mom, and how this chapter even began. And every conversation nudges me closer to wanting to share a little more of the person behind the patches and press machines.

So… if you’d like to follow me beyond work - the food I crave, the tiny things I enjoy, the corners of life that make me feel inspired, come grow with me here: @thegigithings

A little lifestyle space, shared quietly, just as I am 🩶

... Read moreBuilding a content creator account is more than just posting regularly—it’s about creating a genuine connection with your audience. From my experience, the journey involves not only showcasing your business but also revealing the human story behind it. For me, sharing moments beyond packing orders and event activations, like the little joys and challenges of daily life, has helped bring more warmth and relatability to my account. One important lesson I’ve learned is that being ‘faceless’ online can be tough. Without showing who I truly am, my content risks feeling impersonal. Yet, I’ve realized that authenticity matters most. It’s okay to be vulnerable or imperfect because that’s what draws people in. Responding to questions at pop-up events about balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship has inspired me to open up more, providing a fuller picture of my life to followers. If you’re growing a content creator account yourself, consider sharing the behind-the-scenes moments—whether it’s your favorite recipes like coconut chia pudding with strawberries and mangos, daily inspirations, or parenting challenges. These glimpses create a lifestyle space that feels personal and inviting. Consistency is key, but so is evolving your content to reflect your changing interests. Whether it’s a shift from purely business posts to including lifestyle elements, or answering follower questions sincerely, each step nurtures your community. Using niche hashtags such as #GrowWithLemon8 and #creatortips can also boost discoverability while aligning with your content goals. Ultimately, growing a content creator account is about growth as a person and as a brand. Sharing your journey openly creates meaningful engagement, turning followers into a supportive community ready to grow with you.
