Book review
📚# Books:# GetBetteratAnythingBy Scott H.Young
This volume, "really staple," is not a typical self-improvement genre.
It's a book that speaks systematically about "learning better."
The book summarizes the development of skills in three main areas:
1 See (Look correctly)
Learn from the talented / real example.
See how he does it, not random.
2 Do (act) ✍
Training is very important.
But it must be "the right way to train," not repeat the old way.
3Feedback (Get Fedback) 🔁
Must have someone / system say that we did it right or wrong
Otherwise, "unwitting mistakes."
Key ideas that are different from normal self-improvement books.
✨ just being experienced doesn't mean being better.
10 years of work could still be in the same place without feedback.
✨ start with "copy" and be good.
Imitation of talent = shortcut to development
✨ The difficulty must fit.
Easy to go = not grown up.
Too hard = discouraged
Must be in a "forced but still shaken" point.
✨ Quantity comes first, quality.
Do a lot first → I'll be good at it myself
Don't wait for Perfect.
✨ development is not linear.
There will be tons and then jump up later.
Short summary
If you want to be good at something
Learn the right way, not just try harder.
