Window VS Aisle Seat
Choosing between a window and an aisle seat depends on whether you value views and rest or mobility and space. A window seat is generally best for sleeping and scenery, while an aisle seat is ideal for easy access to the restroom and stretching.
Window Seat
Pros:
Uninterrupted Sleep: You have a wall to lean against and won't be disturbed by seatmates needing to use the restroom.
The View: Access to scenic landscapes and cloudscapes that are unique to air travel.
Control: You usually have final say over the window shade and natural lighting.
Cons:
Limited Access: You must ask others to move if you need to use the restroom or stretch.
Feeling Trapped: The space between the wall and another person can feel stifling or claustrophobic for some.
Aisle Seat
Pros:
Freedom of Movement: You can stand up, use the restroom, or access overhead bins whenever you like without bothering others.
Extra Legroom: You can extend your legs into the aisle (carefully) for a bit more space.
Faster Exit: Being on the aisle allows you to deplane slightly faster once the doors open.
Cons:
Constant Disturbance: You must get up for seatmates and are frequently bumped by passing service carts or passengers.
No Place to Lean: It is much harder to sleep comfortably without the support of the cabin wall.
