HELP~Major Depressive Order!
Update: My Hair has been fixed. PTL! Thank you JESUS!!! Pictures to come!!!
This is what MDO can look like. It can lead to self isolation. Poor hygiene. Putting your hair in a bun. And it being left in for days, weeks, maybe months, even, years. Shame it just keeps growing. Till you don’t know what to do or how to fix. This is where i am at…….
I can’t shave it off because i would literally be bald. But to go into a salon it would 60-100 have it worked on. I live in Henderson (Las Vegas!), NV. I’m on disability (well in the process anyways; for a multitude of reasons {not not mdo); ill share all that in another post) so obviously i don’t have the money or means to get it fixed.
It makes me cry daily and i honestly don’t know what to do!Henderson

🤍 My Takeaways:
Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a serious mental health condition that can lead to significant emotional pain and functional impairment. Those battling MDD often experience feelings of hopelessness, self-isolation, and a decline in personal care, which can exacerbate their mental health struggles. One of the key aspects of addressing MDD is recognizing the importance of seeking help and support from mental health professionals. Therapy can provide coping strategies and emotional relief, while support groups can foster a sense of community. Simple practices such as self-care, setting small daily goals, and engaging in activities that bring joy can make a big difference in managing symptoms. For individuals facing financial barriers, exploring low-cost or community mental health services can be beneficial. Additionally, connecting with local resources in areas like Henderson, NV, can offer tailored support to those in need. It is essential to highlight that recovery from MDD is possible with the right support and interventions. Taking the first step by reaching out for help can lead to a brighter path ahead.
