Give me Weight Loss Advice!

If you’ve lost over 100 pounds, please give me weight loss advice!!!

~Some background~

6 months ago I was diagnosed pre diabetic and 3 months ago I was able to get out that. My doctor told me that even though I was able to get my blood sugar levels down I need to try to lose some weight so that I don’t get back to that place again. Unfortunately even though I’ve been trying to lose weight over the last 8 months I’ve been struggling.

My diet currently consists of mainly Whole Foods(fruits, vegetables, and meat mainly beef). I make all my meals from scratch so I can track calories, carb intake, and bc it’s fun. I rarely eat out because I’m poor and I don’t buy premade meals bc they’re gross. I don’t drink soda outside of the occasional Diet Coke but if I want a none water drink I will have a poppi or kombucha. I do however occasionally eat processed snacks like goldfish, pudding, lesser evil popcorn, smart sweets, and unreal candy.

I also have a gluten sensitivity and I’m lactose intolerant so I’ve cut those things out of my life somewhat to help me with inflammation.

As far as exercise I workout 3-4x a week at the gym and I also work on my feet so I tend to get about 10,000 steps in every day and I try to go on a walk or hike at least 2-5x a week depending of my work schedule.

Anyway I’m at a loss. I have a dietitian and she’s told me that she doesn’t know how to help me because I know what I’m doing and I’m doing everything right. I’ve lost a little bit of weight but not at the pace I should be.

I’ve come on her to ask for help because I know there has to be other people experiencing the same thing. If you have any advice

Being diagnosed with pre diabetes at one point means you have insulin resistance. Fasting and extended fasting can help with resistant insulin which in turn will help with weight loss
