Is lemon8 Falling off?
Is it just me or does it seem as if everyone forgot about this app? I love making and watching content in here but recently it seems as though there’s no new post coming up on my fyp. Is it because school started? I’m curious as to what y’all’s opinions are!

I've been seeing that stark question, "IS LEMON8 FALLING OFF?", pop up everywhere, and honestly, it's a thought that's crossed my mind too! As someone who genuinely loves this platform, I've been actively observing my feed and wondering about Lemon8's popularity. It feels like there are fewer new posts hitting my For You Page sometimes, which naturally leads to questions about daily active users and the overall Lemon8 user count. It's easy to jump to conclusions when an app's vibe shifts a little. My personal take is that the ebb and flow of social media platforms are pretty normal. We see trends come and go, and user engagement can definitely fluctuate. For instance, did school starting impact how many creators are consistently posting? Or perhaps the algorithm is just showing me content from a specific niche right now? These are all factors that can influence our individual perception of how popular Lemon8 truly is. When we talk about how popular is Lemon8, it’s not just about the number of downloads, but also about the sustained activity and fresh content. I've been trying to find ways to keep my own feed vibrant. Sometimes, diving into new hashtags or actively searching for specific topics can reveal a whole fresh wave of content I might have missed. It makes me wonder if the 'traffic' we perceive is sometimes a reflection of our own engagement patterns rather than a universal decline. I’ve also considered external factors. The social media landscape is incredibly competitive, with new apps constantly emerging and established ones evolving. This can certainly impact any platform's user count and overall Lemon8 popularity. However, what I appreciate about Lemon8 is its community feel and the focus on aesthetic, actionable content – something that still feels pretty unique. So, is Lemon8 falling off? From my perspective, it might be experiencing a natural phase of maturation or shifting user behavior. Instead of just observing, I’ve found that actively engaging, posting regularly, and seeking out new communities within the app helps me feel more connected. If you're also wondering about Lemon8's future and its user count, remember that our collective activity and passion for the app truly make a difference in keeping it vibrant and proving that Lemon8 is not dead. Let's keep supporting the creators and content we love!

Honestly yeah, its popularity is decreasing seeing as Tiktok doesn’t seem to be going anywhere which sucks because I actually prefer lemon8 due the fact that its not constant short-form content on repeat and I don’t feel like I’m doom-scrolling plus the positive vibes is so apparent here 🙂
