We didn’t just decide that we wanted to change just because of pressure or because it’s the new thing to do, or (as many politicians and their lackeys say) that we just want to get in a restroom/locker room/win a sport. In our hearts, minds, and souls (if you believe in a soul) we’ve always been women and trans men have always been men. We are just making our outside match who we’ve always been on the inside, who we always should have been.
