Easter Weekend 2026
Easter Weekend is a wonderful opportunity to bring family and friends together with creative and delicious treats. This year, I decided to try some new recipes featuring jello molds shaped like Easter eggs which really brought a fun, nostalgic vibe to the table. Using a silicone mold designed specifically for jello jigglers made it easy to create colorful, translucent shapes that kids and adults alike enjoyed. I also incorporated a cookie decorating kit that was perfect for children aged 3 and up. It included nut-free sugar cookies and vibrant coloring kits, making it safe and enjoyable for families with allergy concerns. Decorating cookies became a delightful activity, sparking creativity as everyone experimented with different designs and frosting colors. For the cake, I opted for a Funfetti yellow vanilla cake mix with candy bits mixed directly into the batter, topped with classic Funfetti frosting. This combination added a playful texture and festive look to the dessert spread. The convenience of using pre-made mixes like Pillsbury ensured a quick prep time while still delivering a homemade feel. Through these experiences, I learned that preparing Easter treats doesn't have to be complicated or stressful. Simple tools like themed molds and decorating kits bring joy and creativity to holiday cooking. These ideas also create lasting memories as families engage in hands-on baking and decorating—a perfect way to celebrate Easter Weekend 2026 with heart and flavor.
