COLLEGE SPRING BREAK RECAP
Junior Year Spring Break!!
My friends and I went to Panama City Florida!
It was so awesome to get at some cool restaurants and relax by the pool and on the beach.
My bestfriend and I went to Liza’s kitchen and got the best coffee and breakfast.
Then we did group dinner at Bayou on the Beach where I got the best oysters and shrimp boil ever!
Oh my gosh, I'm still buzzing from my junior year spring break in Panama City, Florida! It was everything I dreamed of and more, and as a college female, I know how much we look forward to this trip. If you're planning your own ultimate spring break getaway, especially to a lively spot like PCB, I've got a few tips to help you make it just as unforgettable. First off, food is a must for fueling all your beach adventures! My bestie and I absolutely loved starting our mornings with coffee dates at Liza's Kitchen. Seriously, finding a 'coolest coffee shop' with delicious breakfast is key to getting your day started right. Don't be afraid to explore beyond the main strip; sometimes the best hidden gems are a little off the beaten path. And for dinner? You HAVE to try a local seafood spot. Our group dinner at Bayou on the Beach for oysters and a massive shrimp boil was pure perfection. Sharing those big platters with friends after a long day in the sun is just peak spring break vibes. Beyond the delicious eats, make sure you carve out plenty of time for pure relaxation. There's nothing quite like spending an afternoon lounging by the pool with a refreshing daiquiri in hand, or soaking up the sun on the sandy beach. Those moments of just chilling and chatting with your 'beach babe' friends are what you'll remember most. And don't forget to get those 'tons of pre-beach pics' before you get all sandy and sun-kissed! It’s all part of documenting those precious college memories. Now, for some practical advice from one college girl to another: Budgeting is your best friend: Spring break can add up fast. Decide on a group budget for food and activities beforehand. Look for happy hour deals, share appetizers, and maybe even pack some snacks for the beach to save a few bucks. Every little bit helps when you're trying to stretch your student budget! Safety first, always: Panama City Beach can get pretty lively during spring break. Always stay with your friends, especially at night. Keep an eye on your drinks, and make sure someone always knows where you are. Your safety is way more important than missing out on one fun moment. Pack smart: You'll want multiple bikinis because who wants to put on a damp one? Don't forget a wide-brimmed hat, plenty of sunscreen (reapply, reapply!), and a cute cover-up for those transitions from beach to restaurant. Comfortable sandals for walking are a lifesaver, too! Plan, but be flexible: It’s great to have a general idea of what you want to do, but also be open to spontaneous adventures. Some of our best memories were unplanned moments. However, for popular spots or activities like boat tours, booking ahead can save you stress. Embrace the experience: College spring break is a unique time. Put your phone down sometimes, soak it all in, and just enjoy being present with your friends. These are the stories you'll be telling for years to come – even the 'on the way home goodnight' moments in the car as you head back to reality. So go on, plan that incredible trip, make those memories, and have the best college spring break ever!
