My college work day!
Day in my life as a college student!
Started off with breakfast - 2 hard boiled eggs and blueberry bagel!! And ofc I had to treat myself with a matchaaaa 🍵 (my current obsession)
Then, I had to run by my sorority house to grab my lunch! It was Turkey sandwiches 🥪
I work 11-6 at a preschool! During my kids nap time I try to get as much school work done as possible. I’m taking a few online classes and I take full advantage of nap time! Then I came home and watched a movie with my roomie. We had cookies and popcorn. Soaking up these last moments with her since we are seniors 🥹🥹🥹

It's true, college life is a whirlwind, and my 'work day' post really just scratched the surface of what goes into balancing everything! So many of you asked how I manage it all, and honestly, it’s a constant learning curve. But I've picked up a few tips and tricks I wanted to share to help you navigate your own busy schedule. First off, let's talk about balancing that hustle between work and school. Like I mentioned, working at the preschool from 11-6 means my study time is precious. Those nap time sessions are truly gold! If you're working while taking classes, especially online classes, finding those pockets of time is key. I always make sure my laptop is ready for some quick school work during my breaks. Even 15-20 minutes can make a huge difference in staying on top of readings or discussion posts. My biggest advice? Plan your week out! Knowing when your assignments are due and blocking out specific study times, even short ones, can prevent a lot of stress. Then there's the fuel! You saw my breakfast of eggs and a blueberry bagel, and of course, that essential matcha. Eating well on a college budget can be tough, but it's so important for energy. I try to meal prep some basics on Sundays, like hard-boiled eggs or overnight oats. And for lunch, instead of buying out, packing a simple turkey sandwich like the one from my sorority house saves so much money and time. Having healthy snacks like fruit or nuts on hand prevents those afternoon slumps. What about making connections? My sorority house is a big part of my social life, and having that community has been amazing. If you're not in a sorority, college clubs and organizations are fantastic ways to meet people with similar interests. And cherish your roomie! Watching a movie together with some popcorn and cookies is such a simple, sweet way to bond and unwind after a long day. Those moments are truly the best when you're seniors and soaking up every last bit of time. Finally, let's talk self-care and staying sane. After a full day of classes, work, and studying, it's easy to feel drained. Beyond movie nights, I try to fit in little moments for myself. Sometimes it's a quick walk, listening to music, or just taking a few minutes to scroll through Lemon8 for inspiration. And yes, sometimes it’s just taking a fun mirror selfie! It's a quick way to check in with myself and feel a bit put-together, even if I'm just heading to the library. Finding quick, easy outfits that make you feel confident can also boost your mood. Remember, it's all about finding what works for YOU to recharge and keep going strong!
